Beginnings

Off The Cuff Beginning

Although I work with WordPress and web pages, I preferred to work on client’s pages rather than my own. Reluctance to start writing for myself to share with others was the main obstacle but 4 years ago I decided to bite the bullet and just get on with it. Primarily it was just to share our observations, pictures and comments with family and friends about areas we were traveling to.

As with many things, life had other ideas. In my case a family illness and then death. The need to care for someone for 3 years and COVID. Ahhhh yes, COVID. So travel was restricted to our own country – actually to our own province for the first part, then ok for country but no US until vaccination levels were such that government confidence in opening the borders reached the point of acceptance.

However, we were still “caring” for an individual until an appropriate residence could be found for them. Once that was done, we made plans to leave and head south for 2 months.

So that is where I am starting. 2023’s trip in the months of March and April. I have pictures and notes to work on for trips we did pre-COVID so the postings won’t be in order but I will include them as a way of writing about our trips.

We decided to make the site & Facebook page open to “the public” as we have found that RVer’s sharing their thoughts, experiences and hacks is a wonderful thing. People can be surprisingly inventive, funny and informative and if anything, hopefully any experiences we share can be helpful to others. So this site will include our travels both good and bad, our thoughts on all things RV and experiences when it comes to traveling in a RV.

So from our house on wheels to yours, welcome and cheers!
